Jumbo Loans for Non-Warrantable Condos

As you may know, Southern California tends to invite the opulent.  Condos with prime real estate price tags and breathtaking views are no exception.  That’s why PrimeLending is now offering Jumbo and Non-QM Jumbo Plus loan programs to buyers for high-cost condos in non-warrantable projects.

Condos have always been a popular preference in Orange County.  Financing one just got easier!

Typically, condos are viewed as a more affordable approach to homeownership.  They are often very attractive options for the first-time and investment buyers whose access to financing fit within Fannie Mae’s requirements.  But, Fannie Mae does not offer jumbo loans or financing for non-warrantable condo projects.  As a result, this has posed as a challenge for buyers in the Orange County area where high-cost is a real factor.

Fortunately, the Jumbo and Non-QM Jumbo Plus programs provide greater access to financing for buyers in our high-cost area.  The homework and upfront research required to verify project eligibility still exists… to a degree.  But, don’t worry!  This isn’t something you have to do on your own.  Contact your realtor for more information about any of the condos in Orange County that you may be interested in.  When you’re ready, contact me regarding your financing options.  You’ll need someone who’s thorough, likes the challenge associated with condos and is undaunted by the additional work required.
